Logo & Brand Usage Guidelines

  1. These Brand Usage Guidelines form an integral part of the contractual relationship with the Customer and govern, in their current version, the permitted use of Open Hippo GmbH's trademarks, logos and brand assets ("Brand Assets") as referenced in § 6a of the applicable Terms & Conditions.

  2. Open Hippo GmbH may amend these Guidelines at any time with effect for existing contractual relationships. Customers will be informed of any amendments seven working days before they take effect.

  3. The following rules apply to all permitted uses of the Brand Assets:

Approved assetsOnly Brand Assets obtained directly from Open Hippo GmbH (via website download or on request) may be used. Self-created reproductions or alterations are not permitted.
Minimum sizeThe logo must not be reproduced smaller than 80 px in width in digital use or 20 mm in width in print, to ensure legibility.
Clear spaceA minimum clear space equal to the height of the letter "H" in the logo must be maintained on all sides. No other graphic elements, text or imagery may appear within this clear space.
ColourThe logo must be used in the original colour version (primary pink). A single-colour white version is permitted on dark backgrounds. No other colour alterations are permitted.
BackgroundThe logo must be placed on a plain, high-contrast background. Use on photographic backgrounds or textures requires prior written approval.
ModificationsStretching, rotating, adding effects (shadows, outlines, gradients), or combining the logo with other logos or marks is not permitted.
ContextThe logo must not be used in a context that could imply partnership, co-branding, joint venture, endorsement or sponsorship beyond the Customer's contractual use of the services (see § 6a(4) of the Terms & Conditions).
LabellingWhere space permits, logo use should be accompanied by the designation "Powered by Hippo Token" or "Powered by Open Hippo" in legible type.
ApprovalUse in advertising campaigns, press releases, trade fair materials or other prominent public contexts requires prior written approval by Open Hippo GmbH.

Requests for alternative file formats (SVG, white version) or higher-resolution assets should be directed to Open Hippo GmbH.
